#TheReadingQuest Sign Up Post

Hi everyone,

This is my sign up post for The Reading Quest, which was created by Aentee @ Reading at Midnight. The beautiful artwork for this challenge was created by CW @ Read, Think, Ponder.

The challenge will start on the 13th of August and end on the 10th of September. To participate in the quest you must first pick a character path to follow. I have chosen The Mage.

Each character has a different set of reading goals that must be achieved before you can move onto another character (see below).

The books I am planning to read are:

A book with a one-word title: Wild by Cheryl Strayed

A book that contains magic: This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab

A book based on mythology: The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

A book set in a different world: Aftermath by Chuck Wendig

The first book in a series: Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon

Points can be earned by reading books and posting updates/photos on social media with the hashtag #TheReadingQuest. There are prizes at the end of the quest for the Champions!

I am planning on writing progress updates each week during the challenge and a wrap-up at the end.

I love the concept behind this challenge and the artwork is awesome. I can’t wait to get started!

Let me know in the comments if you are planning on participating and if so what books you are going to read!

    1. Yay! I hope you enjoy it. It was a little difficult for me to pick a character. I almost went with the Bard but I don’t have a book translated from another language. I am on a self-imposed book buying ban at the moment so The Mage was the most practical character for me. Who do you think you will pick?
