WWW Wednesday

Hi everyone,

I was looking for something quick to post today so I thought I would give WWW Wednesday ago. This list is hosted weekly by Taking on a World of Words. Although it’s technically Thursday morning here in Australia, I am claiming my mum pass (my 3 month old doesn’t allow for much computer time!)

What are you currently reading?

I’m actually thinking about taking a little break from books, but I did just start Guilty Pleasures by Laurell Hamilton as part of the ‘Blind Date with a book’ being run by my local library, so I’ll see how I go with that.

What did you recently finish reading?

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. This is an excellent book, Rowell has a wonderful way of writing authentic human relationships. Review to come soon!

What do you think you will read next?

I have two very different books on reserve at my library, so probably one of them. They are:

Landline by Rainbow Rowell

13 Hours (in Benghazi) by Mitchell Zuckoff

As you can imagine I’m looking forward to them both for different reasons.

I would love to hear what you are currently reading?

I’m glad you liked ‘Eleanor & Park!’ It was one of my favorite Rowell novels. ‘Landline’ is the only one of her I haven’t yet read and I have it on my shelf. I’ve just got to find the time to read it. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

I think E&P is probably my favourite with Fangirl as a close second. Rowell is just great. Her writing is so real 🙂

Just for borrowing, it’s a Valentine’s Day thing at my local library, pretty cool isn’t it? 🙂
My library is Ryde and I’m in Sydney. They must have a some good people there thinking up new ideas.

Ahh, I see. I’ll be visiting Sydney in a couple of months so I thought if it was a bookshop I could try buying one. That would have been fun!
